Just as the thread title states: Post pictures of both great and fail cosplays.

What is a cosplay?

Cosplay (コスプレ kosupure?), short for "costume play",[1] is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Favorite sources include manga and anime, comic books, video games and films. (But just to keep it OT, please post Anime-related cosplays only)

Ironically enough, I'm not that big of a fan of cosplay. :S Anything I would post in this thread would probably be off the first page when you Google "best Naruto cosplay". "S

Eh, here in america I tend to avoid events that involve cosplay. They usually have like 90% big 3 cosplay and maybe 10% video game.
Naruto cosplay is horrible for the most part(imagine fat + any naruto character), one piece is generally just open shirt jean shorts, and bleach is usually for the dedicated since they tend to go for the sword as well.

Personally I'm not that into cosplay. The only ones that i can remember are some evangelion asuka's and some jokish mgs references.

there are some DEDICATED people in japan though. I mean life-like you name it, its probably been done.
(oh and there is a giant gundam statue).

(still a question mark if i'd cosplay next year... but yeah if i would cosplay for say (i know its overrated) L ... i dont have to wear makeup or walk abit odd as i've those irl.)

but yeah i have seen quite some swell cosplay though. but atleast 30-40% wouldnt even fit the typ to cosplay that specific character he/she has had chosen. like last animecon, some mentally ill guy in a wheelchair was dressed as a pink fairy ... or those that have to thight fitting clothing e_____e , glad they had a movie area.

(if would be saying about the L thing .. i really have eyebags that are as black as the night and my back has been destablized ever since i came back from the therapist 10 years ago (was walking X legged ... still do only now i spread my feed like some frog to keep my knees facing forward)).

before i forget what about ero-cosplay. :3
