Better loot?

I'm a level 29 assassin, how would I get better loot? The golden chest isn't putting out that great, and neither is the moxxi slot hack.

only thing i can think of is using the slot item level editor, slot's only give out weapons equal to your quest level, and golden chest should do some awesome stat'd weapons for your level?
