Looking for three text based tutorials
Hey guys, I'm searching for three text-based tutorials for when I am on my iPod at work. I want them do I can have a general idea on a subject when I get on my desktop.
I'm looking for:
C++
ASM
and Pearl
I've found tutorials but they're l from 2008 and earlier, so I was wondering if there are any better ones. Any tutorial that has an in-depth explanation of everything is best, as I am a very literal person and am not good at learning without knowing absolutely EVERYTHING about any little detail.

For CPP I believe anything will do, even old, there is no need to update anything from the last years so.. Doesnt matter.
For ASM that section has lots (I believe), I had one GOOD pdf but lost it.
Pearl.. no idea sorry.

yeah I need to know every detail about everything or else I just can't grasp it 
that's my biggest problem with a lot of tutorials

Thats why I usually get a book over online tuts. those tend to explain better and more indepth
