How do i log an ip of player i came across in someone else's server?
I would love to know cause of loads of s*** talking squeakers need to go offline and i only have a booter and skype resolver. I mean some are dumb enough to give me their skype but i would rather just grab their ip.

Any help would be awesome

Ciao
Not possible unless you get a server log. The clientinfo_t structure doesn't log things like that.
-_- i best start sweet talking some server admins then :L
And what will you do with a IP adress from others? Hacking them lol...Ive the pc is secured then the IP adress is useless so what's your point?
Sign into there internet and shut them down remotely with command prompt.
if you use MW3SA , with steam U can kick/ban/get IPs an example
and u can get a mw3 steam cdkey for about 18$

Never seen it before but it seems to be a nice program
So what can u do with the ip-adresses from people?
Thanks for the example.
Do you guys even bother to read what he wrote?

1-) He wants to get the Server IP, not the IP from some people on the game.
2-) MW3SA is for Steam. He wants it for Tekno/IW5M
3-)

I'm pretty sure there's a way to get the IP... not sure how tho.

Question "How do i log an ip of *player i came across in someone else's server?" :P
MW3SA gets player information straight from the Steam API. I doubt this feature is implemented in whatever private server version you happen to be using, but you could try. OpenSteamworks might well have headers to tell you all about it, but I haven't checked.

EDIT: I seem to remember @aIW|Convery, having something like this for IW4..
Just read the memory? :S

Chances are on private versions, this isn't possible. For steam apparently it is.

Right, the game have no reason whatsoever to know where to send the data..
You can read both the server's / other players ip. There's a struct for all players in the current match, you just gotta find out where that's located
If someone is interested in this, note that the IPs are stored as 4 bytes, not a string or int.
