[Tutorial] Enable GameStop/EB Games Pre Order Creature Slaughter missions
I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else post this yet,

Using Gibbed's Editor, under the 'raw tab' and towards the near bottom you will find UsedMarketingCodes. Anyone who has used the PC version to give themselves Golden Keys should of realised that they have parameter entries.

In UsedMarketingCodes is where the entries are stored, paste the code below to activate the DLC.
Code:
2
1
3
For reference; 1= Creature Slaughter, 2= Premiere Club, 3= DLC Captain Scarlett. I'm unsure what entry 2 and 3 unlock, however I presume just a flag to say you have accessed the DLC and/or been granted the in-game bonus.

To go straight to the DLC, you can set your LastVisitedTeleporter and Fast Travel to CreatureSlaughterToPandoraPark in the editor or find it near Pimon and Tumbaa at Wildlife Preserve.
Hi,
Sorry if i don't get it right. Enabled is one thing ; i have already completed the missions related to the CSD. Is it possible to reset it ? It's a fun place in multi, too bad when it's done.. it's definitely done :/
Yes, you can reset any and all side-quests, even from a 100% completed save file. Only pre-ordered accounts get direct access to this, however you can flag it on your save to enable access if you didn't pre-order.

If you are using the editor, look under the 'raw tab' look for MissionPlaythroughs. Use the Collection Editor to edit whichever play-through you want, this can be found in the right box under PlayThroughNumber, 0 = PT1, 1 = PT2. Yes, there is also a 3rd playthrough officially unsupported, however it's a like a demo mode where neither you nor enemies cause damage, as required data isn't coded. Hit the ******* for the mission editor, all missions completed get listed here as they are discovered.

Scroll through the list until you find Mission: GD_Z2_CreatureSlaughter.M_CreatureSlaughter_x; where x corresponds to the round number. Just delete these using the big X. There are 5x quests for each slaughter mission, delete all 15x on the playthrough for results. You can also add missions, these are a bigger process as quite a few entries need to be processed, when not done correctly the editor wont save and graveyard it.

NOTE: I am actually in the process of releasing some Arena save files. Read the post for more info.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked your saves, and there is clearly a PT0, PT1 and PT2 in MissionPlaytroughData (3 lines)

My personnal save is 100% legit. I have done two playthroughs, and i still play for some side quest left on PT2. As i have beaten the warrior for the second time, the game should be in PT 2.5 (TVHM selected) ; anyway.

In my save, all the MissionPlaytroughData.. -> PlayThroughNumber : All to 0

Kinda weird. I have no explication.
Also for the record, the order of the UsedMarketingCodes doesn't seem to matter, it simply looks for a value to exist or not exist.
Isn't this the same as editing the willowdlc.ini?
Yes I suppose to, XBox360 users don't have willowdlc.ini. It needs the entry on the save itself for us, if you've never visited it on coop or never got the pre-order, none of your legit saves can visit.

I noticed that your save files have all challenges...do you have a quick tutorial for editing challenges, similar to the one above for editing side missions?
Very Very much appreciated my friend.....
I cannot get this to work on Steam. I still get the message that I need to purchase downloadable content. I have a separate Borderlands 2 install that I play the DLC on with tunngle but I want to use my paid copy of Borderlands 2 on the Steam network with out buying the DLC. Is this not possible?
