Left 4 Dead 1 godmode?

Is there a way on Left 4 Dead 1 to get Godmode and unlimited ammo but without using SV_Cheats because it disables achievements :/

Try this:
>Enter game
>Type sv_cheats 1
>type all the cheats you need to 1 (activate them)
>type 'retry' (or reconnect, i don't know the commands very well)
