This is the first background I've ever tried to create. The girl is drawn by someone named Keith Garvey, google it if you want more pictures like that . Any tips on improving the image?

Well I think the whole design itself is a bit plain and could do with somemore things around it or on the sign, also a intresting background would look nice.
