Can never be sure, but with your internet being down, sounds like your computer could be infected by a botnet.

Could be other things what might not be a virus though.

Just to add to this, to check shut down your PC and use your internet on your iphone/laptop and see if it's working when your PC is off.

If it's still down it's probably not a botnet, but they're more common than people think.

It just might be your Network, you may need to access your Network & Sharing Center, and use Diagnose and Repair Network problems feature... Had that same problem so i updated the drivers, problem solved...

all i can say is make a list of possible cuases go trough it one bye one knocking off list hell could be a driver issue one thing to add to list

as for your isp provoder i doubt they would know there ass from hole in the ground

change your ISP if even they dont have a solution for that...maybe this helps
