Making a randomizer...
and inconvenience myself even more than arguing with you is? no thanks. I'd rather continue to work on updating my software than run your code that i already know can't work.
Even tho LilGho$t is a bitch (no offense
) he is right.
) he is right.Idk why people keep copy and pasting off the internet.... here is some short code that actually works and is easy... llool
Code:
Dim i As Long i = Int(Rnd() * 10000000000) TextBox1.Text = i
I haven't ran Rnd() but it's really just about the same as saying:
At which point rndMe, like meltdown's example, is unseeded so it has to rely on the default seed. Also, with declaring our random number sequence we can do a few things, we can seed and we can pass in a minimum & maximum number. So now we can say:
a lot easier to understand. If you'd like to shorten it you can say the following:
these are of course unseeded, which is what i was arguing with meltdown over.
Code:
dim i as long dim rndMe as random = new random() i = int(rndMe() * 10000000000) textbox1.text = i
Code:
dim i as long dim rndMe as random = new random() i = rndMe(10000000000, 99999999999) textbox1.text = i
Code:
textbox1.text = new random().next(10000000000, 99999999999)

and just add the function to your own project.
So just use the function.
