Hacks not having effect

Hi, whoever is reading this. I an new to hacking combat arms, and I learned the basics of hacking. However, there is a huge problem that I need help on. My hacks have no effect whatsoever when I inject them into engine. I downloaded portal injector, and I injected the Akiri v 1.0 into engine.exe. When I click on portal, it says injection successful, and starts combat arms. However, when I go in game, there is no effect whatsoever. I pressed the buttons on my numpad, but nothing happens. Everything is fine, but the hacks won't work. Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Additional details: No ending banner upon closing.
