RIP RuneScape 2004-2012

In my opinion, I HATE the EoC.

Reasons:

Activity bar is NOT made to cooperate with this game.
Technically 'copying' LoL, Diablo, etc with activity bar.
No more special attacks.
Gay player animations.
No permanent dds.
Wayyy to confusing.
Jagex does it for money only, not listen to players feedback, thats why RS lost over 20k players since EoC release..
Skilling is not the same.

I been playing rs for quite awhile, since I am level 137, all skills above 60-70, along with 100 dungeoneering (as if these mean anything nowadays, back then you were a legend and begged to do skillcape emotes).

In my opinion, RSPS are going to get a lil bit more popular with the old combat system, as a lot of people hate the new one.

^^^ thats my opinion for the new RS and RS will attract alot of people with the NEW EOC BECUSE THEY NEVER PLAYED RS BEFORE so they Don't know how the OLD runescape looks like...

Disagree bro, Runescape used to be the best MMORPG out there and that for more than 6 years. Doubt the action bar was that important cause games like WoW never beat Runescape in the votings and they have the action bar implented since the beginning, so it has nothing to do with that.

Oh and what @~Just IN~ said is pretty much the truth ; more than 20K players left, most of them the die-hards playing Runescape for over 3 years and having the highest skill in the game, untill now, cause it's all based on bullshit now.

Runescape was the game known to be the shitty third person only mouse-clicking game and that's the reason why we loved it, if we wouldn't like it that way, we would play LoL, WoW, etc.. Now they totally fucked up with the keybind action bar..

I don't agree with the activity bar. However, the other stuff you mentioned were true.

I played today for a little while, it's not the same at all, I had no idea what half of the things were. I like how it use to be before all these new updates starting with the armor / item look remake they did a while back.

They were moving like a snail on a highway. They just got back into the race. I like the new EoC, don't know why people don't.
If you're crying because it's not "old" runescape and they "change" too much, just Alt+F4 now. No game can stay the same, every game needs changes too keep up with the rest. Have to be the best.

One thing that ruined it the most, they said that the best thing that happened to runescape was the Squeal of Fortune. Where would EoC land in the rankings then?

RuneScape was the oldest, original, simplicity, one of a kind mmorpg until jagex started money whoring and paying youtubers to make videos on eoc.

runescape probably had a dying player base, as the graphics and combat system probably turned off anyone who looked at tit for the first time
