Basketball

Anyone here a good legit basketball player? Like one that is actually in some leagues or teams.

Nope. Hated it. Everyone thinks I'd be a great player because I'm really tall, but the only thing I can do is dunk, even then i usually travel with the ball.

I play for my school team, and have been playing for 3 years straight for them (HS).

What would you do if you're on a iso 1 on 1 where you have size advantage over the defender?
In a real game all I can do is pumpfake, for some reason I can never do any moves even though I know them in my mind.
Any advice?

I can relate to this sooo much

So annoying because if you meet new people... "Oh you must play Basketball. Are you any good etc etc etc."

I hate it, the only time I was decent was in gym class senior year when I chucked the ball at this ******s head and it bounced off and web into the basket. Only basket I've ever scored without dunking.

I was in the supermarket with my mum once and this middle aged man literally stopped me in my tracks and asked if I played Volleyball because I was tall... Said no and he kept on yapping on about the sport and my being a good player... Was random af

I love Volleyball my senior year in highschool we had a massive tournament where we could pick our own teams, I had all of the most athletic kids on my team and they picked me only because I was the tallest kid. We destroyed the other teams with style, I picked kids up to spike it, if someone tried spiking on us I just put my hand up and it blocked it, ah good times. Being 6'4" is a blessing and a curse

i am black so i automatically win.

I'm playing basketball for about 6 years now but i never ever joined a team, because i didnt wanted to, now im 16 and i'd give up anything (but my airsoft gun not lol ) just to join somewhere but now theres not teams here, neither school teams. Fuck my life.

I don't find Volley that fun but our school team is like national champs or something? Idk but they're pretty good lol. I prefer racquet sports like Squash
