Enchance hack, does it even possible?

Hi, i have been trying to do some enchance hack using WPE. But, so far i just able to capture the packet that used to enchance and in result i can enchance in every NPC not just blacksmith, i can even enchance at quest board. I have been trying to do this hack for almost 1 week and i'm starting to think that is it even possible to do enchance hack?

so how was it while enhancing in different npc do the items break?

Interesting idea, glad that someone share the same passion on learning WPE. I also got the same packet and can do enhancing at NPCs. Problem with WPE is, we can only edit (given if we can decrypt) packets being sent from the clients (our PCs) to the game server. Trigerring of RNG (random number generator) and results are being processed on the server and being sent to us afterwards. Here's the theory I've been trying to work out with:

I'm planning to edit packets being sent to the server to trick it into believing that I'm enhancing an unenhanced item. (Since unenhanced item gives 100% success rate on enhancing).

it would be ok i think since the item will fail but wont break..

Yea, sadly it doesn't change anything. The item still breaks

I have thought about that, but it needs a lot of gold, and i'm a poor bastard. That's why i'm searching for enchance hack in the first place

You have to replace your gpk files to bypass it's security, i recommend using the one from XKhen which packed with his DNtrainer v79

sorry to bust in. atlast i see someone whos interested in enhance hack XD i got the packet too though but its hard to edit the success rate

Too hard tho, without an experience of decrypting packets. Those floods of numbers are really annoying.

how to use jelly at +12?
u mean record the packet when we use jelly at +6 then spam the packet till item +12? is if we send the packet again it is considered we still use jelly?

yea i gave up at decrypting, i manage to know the bit place of certain info but it is hard to know the encryption algorithm
so it is useless unless we just need to send the same packet again

decrypting is ok for me, but tons of it is annoying. managed to change a certain group of packets, can be used from +1~+6(dunno if its luck or the decrypted packets applied), but from thereon, changing packets will make u DC, i dunno why XD

That is because you we're sending packets to a wrong route. It is highly difficult to decrypt packets. There's another way to find the packets where they we're being sent, it is to use debuggers to debug your Client in JIT.

oh thats is the solution to my problem also. i make thread here to ask help but no one bother to help.. thank you for ur not the one of them who is selfish to give those idea

Recently, i visited DN SEA forum and i stumbled upon this thread which talking about PRNG(Pseudo Random Number Generator) that's used in activity that involve randomness like giving poten, rool on looting, 3rd stat on heraldry, enhance, etc. I recommend to all of you to read that thread.

Done reading? Now, i wanna ask a question, is it possible for us to tweak that random number? or at least sniff if so we can get a better grasp on those bloody randomness
