Fire Effect Text

Hello everyone, I've been working on these for a while now in Photoshop CS6, please tell me what you think. The first picture is one I made for my self and the second one is one I made for a friend of mine.

I'm going to assume you mean the first photo, and is it a specific part of it or the entire text?

Thanks for the feedback, how does the second one look?

Very hard to read for the first 1 and the 2nd one is alright I guess, maybe make a char effect somewhere in the fire to make it look better, and darker would be better.

Thanks for all the feedback I did make another fire text of the same text, but with slightly decreased opacity but I feel it doesn't look as good.

Try exactly what I said and show me the results, I am sure it will look pretty nice depending on how you do it, when I did it it looked great.

What exactly do you mean by a, "char effect," I never heard of that term before.

It should look like this.

You know when you have a fire place once the wood is almost done burning, it has a black char on it, and some grey, try adding some of that.

Hmm, when I work on the project again I'll try that.
