What is a Editor?

An editor is a person who dedicates their time working on the Cross Fire Wiki.

The requirements to be a Editor are:

You must have a strong interest and you MUST be extremely knowledgeable in Cross Fire.
You must be able to edit in YOUR own words.
You must have time to edit the wiki and keep everything up-to-date.
You must be fluent in English - this is a wiki, after all.

Responsibilities of a Editor are:

Write and organize content.
Work with other editors to ensure that the wiki is up to date.
Take screenshots, find pictures, structure and format user content.
Go through pages and edit out any content that you don't see fit (try to salvage as much information as possible).

What you aren't supposed to do as an editor:

Being lazy. Laziness is not tolerated. If you are going to be inactive for a reason you should let us know.
Plagiarizing is strictly not tolerated. If you're caught plagiarizing you will lose your chance to become an editor.

Other Information:

Every week I go by the application thread and I'll pick trial editors if there are people I see who would be good for the job. Trial editors edit the wiki. The process is about 2 weeks (may be longer if needed). If you do a good job as a trial editor, you'll be promoted to an official editor. People who don't do much within the 2 week trial won't become editors. Once you are an editor you continue to edit when new content arises.

What have you done and what do you plan to do on the wiki: I have done alot on the wiki, almost working all day, updating weapons, Maps, Ribbons, Characters, everything! I'm planning to finish all the maps that are missing.

Reasons you should get this position: I'm currently a trail editor on the CoD Wiki and it's working along, people are happy with the content I provide. I got the time, the knowledge (been playing cf since release in 2009) and the skills to take up this job.
What have you done and what do you plan to do on the wiki: Currently I haven't done anything for the CF wiki, I did do some editing in the CoD wiki. My CF work is from a long time ago. I did some reviews on snipers (here) and a review of the M4-series(here), that was not on the wiki and a long time ago, should need some improving.
Also, some (non)up-to-date work, including longknife, sniping, etc..

Reasons you should get this position: I've been part of the CF community for so long, I know everything there is to CF. I want to be a part of MPGH again, if you give me another chance at it. I speak/know VERY good English, so that would be helpful.

What have you done and what do you plan to do on the wiki: Nothing so far, but I will improve the wiki by keeping it updated and adding new information if needed to it.
