Anyways I can help, first question is what server files do you have? second are you using Steam? I don't use Steam for DayZ I use DayZ Commander.
Third can your PC handle running a server and are you going to be playing and hosting on the same PC?
Also you can't really hide anybody from battleye you simple edit the server config and set BE to zero which turns it off.
There are tutorials on youtube which might help but you will have to download and learn a lot of programs you probably have never used before,
I suggest you host a basic server.
Right now I'm at the stage where I'm modding files, scripts and adding vehicles and weapons banned from Dayz.
Hosting a basic Dayz and being Admin all the power you have is to kick players which sucks but hopefully Dayz standalone will fix that problem
and Hosts will have more control over what goes on in their servers.
If you think your going to make money doing this don't waste your time most of us do it for the love of the game.
Good Luck

Seriously? -.-
You HAVE to be accepted to host an official hive server, so therefore that is what he is talking about.
He has the official hive server files.
Steam or not, its no different. You don't use steam to host a server.
You don't need any extra programs or tutorials from youtube. The dev's give you all the proper info when they give you the links to the files
And I'd assume his pc or w/e can handle hosting a server since the dev's approved him.
Also you are wrong. You can hide individual players from BE, using darkys server hack. You can either use an outdated BEserver.dll or only use the players guid w/ no name
If you hide yourself from BE you can do w/e you want. Obviously hosting an official server you can't just ban willy-nilly, it'll get shutdown and blacklisted eventually.
Some people will pay, cuz then they can spawn stuff and have it on other official servers.
@OP, just follow all the dev's directions, its straightforward and easy. If you have issues I suggest going to the irc channel
