❓ question on VIEWING DISTANCE

I'm a mac user, and I'm currently using the hacks in .swf (because I don't know how to use modselector on mac)
My laptop is only 13' which only allows me limited viewing distance even when it's in full screen(only a little bit bigger than the not hacked viewing distance), I was wondering if there is anyway to increase this distance on my computer; I have already set the resolution to the biggest value which is 1280x800

Try using nilly's Fullscreen v3.

Yes fullscreen v3 will help you do this via the /mscale command. You'll need to wait till someone releases a pre-build client with the mod however.
