Socket Error 2048 when playing Help?

i get a socket error 2048 when i try to play regular client or in the web browser. anyone know how to fix this? it works only when i use odom but then it d/c's me alot and has a terrible lag frequency. help would be appreciated.

When you don't have odom open you won't connect to the server you selected by default.

Choose another server. That should fix the problem
