❓ DayZ Low FPS

Been having this problem recently. And I know this is for hacks and such, but I figure you guys are smart enough here you might just have a fix.

Whenever I start up the game into a MP server I have around 30%-40% GPU usage, and only get 20-25FPS anywhere in Chernarus. But if I start up say the armory/singlepayer, I get 45-60FPS, with 70%-90% GPU usage. So my question is, is there a fix for this problem? Or a reason of why I am getting such low usage?

In-game video settings:

(Sorry for the bad quality, just hope you can see the settings.)

System Specs:
CPU = Phenom II X4 3.4Ghz (stock)
GPU = Nvidia GTX 660 Ti (stock)
RAM = 4GB

Lower your graphics all of the way? Not to mention some of the lag you get can be from the servers and it might not be client side.

Not the problem, I put everything to low and still 22 FPS.

I see quality preference high, otherwise I would recommend updating your video card drivers; since you have Nvidea just go to their website and Auto-Scan for your drivers then update.

All drivers are up to date, this is why I am unsure of the problem and think it is something related to Arma 2/OA and not the card itself, considering it works fine for Single player.

Like I mentioned before it could be server side and not client side, so try multiple servers; also internet connection can play a role but I'm not entirely sure about that.

Use "GameBooster" or upgrade Your PC.
GameBooster will give you 5-15 FPS +

Never heard of gamebooster, but I guess give that a try.

It doesn't really do that much effect , it only closes all background processes which will give you a little boost of FPS , if your PC is really old it will make your FPS go down.

Been using Razor GameBooster for a couple of days for numinous amount of games and I've noticed a performance increase. Try it, it has worked for me and my friends.

If your getting 30%-40% GPU usage don't ajust your graphics, leave them on high. Its simply your CPU can't handle all the zombies spawned, Overclock it or Upgrade it.

Ok, here is a little update to my problem. When I mentioned that it was for DayZ, but I really meant Wasteland (hopefully you know what this is). DayZ runs fine, but Wasteland doesn't this is where I encounter the 20-25 FPS problem.

I would say that my CPU is my downfall here, but during game play it is only at %50 usage.

The only item of my PC that has trouble when running the game is my RAM, usually %90+ usage.

Not sure if the problem is Wasteland Server oriented or me not having enough RAM?

Given that information I think its serverside.
