That's yellow. Until you fix your gold, it'll be hard to tell you what you can change because we don't know how it'll look.
Re-read what I said. "I need help improving the gold" I can do gold on regular guns but on the really silver deagle it completely changes. But I still want silver everywhere else sooo changing deagles wouldn't help.

Just darken it then...
Improving the gold is easy. Just duplicate the layer you have for the yellow you have, then DE-saturate that part of it and work on it from there.

This. It's a lot easier to work from grey than it is from another color.

Actually there is another way to do it and it's way easier. Simply have the layer blending options set to "Color" and work from there. Works the same way since the color will just be Yellow and can be done from that.

I prefer desaturation beforehand, but that's just the way I've always done it.

Same. It all depends thouigh.
easiest way is to desaturate douplicate ur background and highlight only the gold parts this will give ur gold a mitalllic look u can find the tutorial here http://www.mpgh.net/forum/293-combat...llic-gold.html hope i helped
