Legit original key stolen
So I had an original key that I used when I bought Arma II some moons ago get GBd. I've actually never hacked, scripted or anything (I pay the professionals here to do that )

Anyways, wondering what to do now. I would like to be able to keep playing legit - do the keys sold here last or do I have to worry about them getting banned every few days?

Also, if someone got my key through a virus or something, any way to check for that? I ran Microsoft Security Essentials and it came up clean. Some people said run Arma through steam and it will fix any problem that might have happened.

Steam winter sale has Arma on sale - is paying the retail premium a better route than going through one of the keys here?

Any advice, thanks!
You probaly ran a keystealer, I'm guessing you ran a free exe off youtube that you thought was a hack. You can buy one on the market place but there is a chance it can be banned in a ban wave, if you want to make sure you're key is never banned or in use buy Arma II OA again and don't run random exes or hack.
Any word on the keystealer still being installed? I ran MSE and it turned up nothing. Was it a once-and-done thing or should I do a reformat?

Thanks for the reply!

Anyone interested in selling a key + some spawn services?
It usually should be a one time thing, so you should be fine now.
Just don't trust YouTube hacks , run anything you're not sure about in sandboxie or VMware.
You can buy keys at Dayz S/T/B.
What Bazooka said, you can find keys on the market place for a very cheap price, and never trust dem youtube hacks.
If you receive "Global Ban #3065" when trying to play DayZ there is a simple fix. This fix might not work depending on the coding of the keystealer. Again, this might not work. When I was a nub at DayZ back in the summer I wanted some hacks so I downloaded one from YouTube. Needless to say I was devastated, but I got this ban id and the fix worked.
So I had my key stolen a couple days ago and I tried using the darky key changer but I kept getting "error 0". So I went and bought a new copy of OA and ran it through steam and it is still saying "bad CD key".
I can't help you there. I would recommend looking on the Darky Key Changer thread, it probably has most of your answers.
Not so much. I have already been there for help but nothing.
It usually should be a one time thing, so you should be fine now.
