Noob Question

Please Read
How do i get my files to save with a transparent background? I have tried to use Photoshop CS6, and copy paste the image into a transparent background with the white and grey checker board and i used wand to delete everything except the image, but when i save it and upload it my image background is white? I have also tried to have 2 layers background i made it black then the top later was transparent i used erase tool and erased the background image completely and still uploads with a white background. Someone please help me.

Did you save it as a PNG?

Where are you uploading to? does the site support png?

The image background is supposed to be white then. Because if you're uploading the image, the preview has a white background but the real image has a transparent background.

Then how do some people have transparent background on here?

Upload it to imgur or tinypic

What exactly are you trying to do?

Make sure your background layer is transparent, and you can either just file save as png, or you can file save for web and devices, then choose png.

If its for MPGH, why don't you just use the background color?

Cause i want it to work on other sites. And thats what i did. If anyone has skype and wants to show me what i am doing wrong just call gsjackson413 and help me out.
