Noob here! Need help to set up private server

Hi guys
I m new here in this forum
I need help to set up private server hacked to play multiplayer online
I cant find the proper post cause there are tons of them here
I hope you guys can help me out to set up the server.

you mean Dedicated server?

ok, go to c:/program files x86/steam/steamapps/common/call of duty modern warfare 3/ normally you got a server called iw5mp_server.exe
just run it. then when its open typ: start_map_rotate
en there you go. server is running so open mw3 and look for server browser, in that look for LAN: and normally there is a server.
for name changing of the server go to c:/program files x86/steam/steamapps/common/call of duty modern warfare 3/admin/server.cfg open with notepad or something. scroll a little bit down and there is:seta sv_hostname "typ there you server name"
for other options, like max cient scroll down to: seta sv_maxclients: typ there the number of people that can join, the max is 18.
thats basicly it. now SAVE IT, and restart your server typ again start_map_rotate: and join your server.
thats normal correct. if there is a problem please shear it!
