I just watched the first one last night, now I'm on to the second one. The first one had bad acting but the story was actually pretty good and interesting. The effects weren't half bad either. I'd suggest you all give this trilogy a chance.

It's kind of a sci-fi thriller, but nothing too weird. Humans, on Earth, nothing too spacey.
