Question about Directx
So I know a fair Amount of c++ and I think I am ready to start going into DirectX but the question is that Do I need an extensive amount of c++ knowledge to start it or is it just basic c++ combined with it?

You need more experience with the basis of C++ before you jump into learning about DirectX. Get the fundemantals down first. Its more important.
