Russian key, looking for a patch

I obtained a Russian key from a seller before December, its the first key I've bought from a seller that I have never gotten CD key in use with and its remained un-banned, so i'm looking for a patch or something of the like to make it English? any help would be appreciated because this is honestly like having a brand new retail key

Sorry to tell you this, but I once got a Russian key and no matter what I tried; google, changing the language in the .dat file, I couldn't resolve it, it would be nice if someone knew how to solve this issue.

I think you can only change from ENG -> Other Languages, found no way to change from RUS -> ENG, or any other language.

I downloaded an Arma 2 language switcher from a private forums which worked for me patching RUS -> ENG.

One important step everyone forgets is to check off "Patch for Beta" (both boxes must be checked), then your patch will work.

I would upload it but I'm sure many of you guys already have it but just not getting it to work.
