No it just makes the Players and or guns different color to see them better.
It doesn't make you able to see through anything. Just when you see someone they'll be white and easy to spot.

Uh, can you retype that. If you mean does the old school chams work in snow i think they don't, i haven't tried it in snow valley. But i think they don't work there.
