Why is Windows 8
From Windows 8 to Windows 7: why I downgraded | ZDNet
Windows 8 Is Not Good For Gamers
The fact that people have to justify installing Windows 8, by criticising those who criticise it (ie "it isn't that bad, people are just looking for shit to complain about) shows just how bad the OS really is. Kernel and resource benefits aside (which are not that great an improvement) an OS is meant to be beneficial for EVERYBODY. There is no room for personal opinion, no room for saying it's meant for tablets, no room for saying it's meant for everyday users, when this is going to be pushed out to EVERY single new PC on the market. If you have half your demographic saying it's bad, and for good fucking reason, then you have created a failure. Guess what? Windows NT 3.X, Windows 95 v1, Windows ME, Windows Vista all had their defenders from both users and professionals but in hindsight they are unanimously considered as fucking disgraceful. The same will happen to Windows 8.

Windows 8 is fine, I don't use any of the Metro apps anyway.
