I don't think you can install mods into a mod client unless you're replacing the whole minecraft jar file, which would be a hacked client.

Well there aren't any Voltz hacked clients out as of now so there would be no way for you to install xray into Voltz. You could always try using a texture pack.

I assume you can since Voltz is just a big modpack composed of a bunch of popular mods but I'm not sure if it's going to be able to function together because the point of these modpacks is that these experienced coders edit it so all the mods work together, otherwise some mods can cause the others to crash.
