This generation of video games has no need to progress. The Xbox 360 and Ps3 (the wii struggling) have been the longest running constantly updated consoles in the history of gaming. This has to deal with the internet being incorporated with them for system updates and for MMO gameplay. The Ps2/Xbox/Gamecube didn't last too long, nor did the PS/Dreamcast/N64 in their time. The Wii definitely would need an upgrade to go anywhere, but overall it sucks. Only thing a PS4 should have would be better hardware and some way to not make fucking software and game updates take forever. Because fuck software and game updates.

As much as I love the play-station series, I will most likely NOT be buying the ps4 for this reason: you cannot play pre-owned games... this means no renting games, no borrowing and no buying pre-owned game
PC is way better .
