back hat means you hack crimaly for personal gain
white hat means you hack to secure systems for black/grey hats
also used for people who are paid security experts.
grey hat is used to describe minor offences not including fruad which provide no personal gain
hacking actually means, change'n somthing to perform better or diffrent task. making it do as the hacker wants. ie free money, free phonecalls and more
