Upgrading

Hello everyone, well it's time for me to upgrade my computer I bought few years ago. I can play Combat Arms on Low settings but I still lagg, so I want to start playing Black Ops 2 on PC and all those games. I need a CPU,RAM, and a Video Card, I just want to know which parts will work on my PC,. If you click on my profile and scroll down on the about me tab my computer specs will be there. Thanks. If you can please post links to the parts so I can maybe buy.

I would recommend upgrading to a newer socket... maybe AM3+? And you shouldn't judge your gaming performance on Combat Arms cause that game engine is shit and it doesn't utilize crap.

I wouldn't play Battlefield 3 if I can't run Combat Arms.

Well you could start off by changing your motherboard for a newer socket for sure. If you have access to a microcenter they have an extremely good price on the i7 3770k. If not you could consider something like the new AMD FX 8350. That does require the AM3+ socket however. I would definately say a motherboard upgrade would be one of your first things to do. In terms of ram, you dont need to worry extensively. You could grab another 2-4gb fairly cheap, just make sure your buying decent SPEED on your RAM. 1600 or 1866 would be a good choice. For the mother board, just find one with an AM3+ socket on it and that has your I/O needs. For a graphics card, I personally really like the GTX 660 for its bang for the buck. If you dont want to spend that much there is also the AMD 7770 and 7850 you may consider, although the performance benchmarks are lower. Hope that helps!

Well I may just try to save up some money and build a new pc from there.It may take a while but it will be worth it.

When talking about replacing the 3 most major parts in a PC, that's generally what you are doing. RAM and GPU's can be updated easily, CPU's as well, but when you go to upgrade all three at once, it would be best to just get a fresh clean system that could be updated in the future, rather than taking on new parts to an outdated computer.
