Staff Evie Guide?

There's alot of guides on Staff and Scythe Evie, but I never know which one to follow. All of them are different in some way, and I'm too much of a newbie to tell what different guides will effect. Does anyone know/have a good guide on Staff Evie? And I've heard Staff is weak, is that true? What are the pros and cons of Staff vs. Scythe? Also, I would prefer a type of guide that can walk me through each level, or one that tells you what to get at say, level 1, 5, 10, 15 and so on. and if staff really is extremely weak, because I've seen some Staff vs Scythe threads that all say Scythe, then what is a good SCYTHE guide? I know it's alot of questions lol. I just want to make sure I choose the right path.

Scythe is stronger, but I doubt it's by that much. If a scythe evie with same level of mattk out damage you by a whole lot, it's probably because of your skill.

But basically, staff is easy, scythe is busy, two completely different styles. Try to only rank up the common skills before you hit level 20 whatever when you can try out scythe, then base on the style decide which way you want to go. At low level, rank F of staff skills are already way too OP anyway.

AP is unlimited, so eventually you will be able to max out all the skills, staff and scythe, you will only be restricted by your best / most expensive weapon. To do good damage on a scythe is probably more expensive than staff.
