What is VPN?
A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network and the resources contained in the network across public networks like the Internet. It enables a host computer to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if it were a private network with all the functionality, security and management policies of the private network.[1] This is done by establishing a virtual point-to-point connection through the use of dedicated connections, encryption, or a combination of the two. The VPN connection across the Internet is technically a wide area network (WAN) link between the sites but appears to the user as a private network link—hence the name "virtual private network".[2]

How to set up VPN on Windows 7?
1. Control panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center
2. Click on Set up a new connection or network
3. Select Connect to a workplace and click Next.
4. Select Use my Internet Connection (VPN).
NOTE: If prompted for "Do you want to use a connection that you already have?", select No, create a new connection and click Next.
5. In the Internet Address: field, type 93.115.84.198
6. In the Destination Name: field, type Romania VPN.
NOTE: Do not type as shown in the picture, it's just an example
In the User Name: field, type in pptp
In the Password: field, type in 9jHbfKiN
NOTE: Do not type as shown in the picture, it's just an example
7. Click the Create button and then click the Connect. Or if you don't want to connect now, you could connect later also.
