Try this.

1.Go to C:/Windows/system32/drivers/Etc./ and delete all the shit inside this folder.
2. Run CF and see if it works for you.

If it doesn't work download the version.ini file again which bastardzz uploaded, substitute it with your corrupted version.ini file on crossfire folder and right click on it -> properties -> compatibility -> check the ''read only'' box and click the ''apply'' button. click OK and try to run CF again.
