PS2 Bans and YOU: Preventative Measures

Hey sooo I a little noob at trying to block the wws_crashreport_uploader.exe files. I'm not fairly understanding how to block it... can any go through a step by step process you how to block it.

Hey, so you seem to know how to block with window. Plz can you go through a step by step on how to block wws_crashreport_uploader.exe?

How exactly do you block the wws_crashreport_uploader.exe in both the launch and planetside 2 itself? can you show me a step by step process?

Can someone please help me by doing a step by step process of how to block both the Game and the launcher?

In windows 7:

press Windows key and type "windows firewall"

Select the result named "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security"

Select "Outbound rules" on the left side

Click "New rule" on the right side

Check "Programs" and click "Next"

Check "This program path:" and click "Browse"

Navigate to the location of the files that you want to block and select it, then click "Open"

---- If the file that you want does not exist but you are sure it is being created and deleted there simply select another file or something and then edit the path in the firewall "This program path field" with the correct path and file name + extension. For example, if you want to block a file in c:\Crash but there isn't such folder or file there just create a random notepad file there and select it, the path will display as "C:\notepadfile.txt" then change it manually to "C:\Crash\wws_crashreport_uploader.exe". Remember that you change this in the firewall "This Program Path" field, not in the file selection popup. ----

Click "Next"

Check "Block the connection" and click "Next"

Check "Domain" "Private" and "Public" and click "Next"

Insert a name, whatever you want makes no difference and click "Finish"

And that's it.

There i nothign to prevent, lol.

THERE ARE 0, EXACTLY 0 Workign hacks for planetside 2 ATM.

1 year and a month later still no working hacks ? i'm looking for it and not finding any

So... blocking crash reporter and not getting banned still works?
