Invisible Glitch?

I found a guide online the person claims you need to:

Step 1: Go to your second loadout slot in your inventory.

Step 2: Remove everything – grenades, skills, and weapons from it.

Step 3: Click on the “locked” slot option about 10 times.

Step 4: Attach any face gear, such as goggles, paintball mask, or glasses.

Is this the currect way to do it? Cause it don't appear to work if thats the right way. Also if your removing all your gears what about your gun? or do you get one from someone who is dead?

Can someone explain this glitch LOL

spelled **correct** but that's fine and not sure, but when you did it that way did it work for you? And the glitch may or may not be patched over.
