Login Test & System Information. [Give Feedback Please]
Hey guys, I'm kind of new to Visual Basic and so just to start off with something simple I decided to make a login for fun, and then make it proceed to open another window which I had no idea what to put so I decided to make it display your system information. Give feedback, and what not please? Thanks

Sorry, mine? :[ It seems to work correctly for me.
Hey,
i have 2 things that you could change if you want.

1. When you display the messagebox with the text "access granted" you could change the messagebox button options to "ok" only, cause the cancel button seems to be useless for me. And after the button click i would display the new form and not before.

2. You could remove the maximize button on the main form cause if someone click on it, it will look ugly

Thats are only some little points that i would change.

But anyway, good work

I like your first tip, but I'm not sure how to change it to "Ok" only. I used MsgBox("Access granted!", 1, "Login"). What would you change the 1 into to make it have different options?
And yeah, I forgot about that; I pretty much only locked it and left it there.

You need to use the MessageBox.Show method instead of the MsgBox.
The MsgBox method is from the old Vb6 times

You could do something like that:

Code:
MessageBox.Show("Your messagebox content", "Your messagebox title", MessageBoxButtons.OK) //Without icon

MessageBox.Show("Your messagebox content", "Your messagebox title", MessageBoxButtons.OK, MessageBoxIcon.Information) //With icon
There are more options like a icon.

Here is a link where you can see some other options at the end of the page:
MsgBox and MessageBox
Good job, here are some suggestions from me
-Remove maximize button
-make BorderStyle (Fixed single or anything else to stop the size-control)
-make the message boxes Read Only

Yeah, I normally do that but I guess I kind of forgot here. Thanks for the tips!
