So this is pretty old, but I translated 2 articles on Wikipedia from Japanese to English, and they both got rejected.
Reason was not enough sources, but If I translated directly from the Japanese wikipedia and put that as my source, what is the problem?

They don't appreciate your work. Don't do it next time. Let them regret their decisions.
Even wikipedia rejects wikipedia as a source.
