Want to ask a question.

Ok, so you know how if you live in a certain country and you want to get something from the US (for example) and you can use a proxy to get what ever you want. Like my computing teacher uses a proxy so he can get Netflix on his PS3 since we don't have it in NZ.

My question is, can I use a proxy or something to play games with my friends from the US? I want to play L4D2 and some other games with some friends I've made that live in the states without having to deal with a 200+ping every game because of the different regions.

I think you'd have a lot of lag because proxies normally have got a high ping.

Proxies are horrible for playing games.
Just try playing with people in your same country.

It'll work, but connection will suck balls.

Yeah, there are some programs for it

I don't play with proxies atm. It doesn't lag, its just that the hit time takes for ever. It takes like 3 seconds for the bullet to reach the enemy if the person in the states is hosting the game. Kinda like playing CoD when the host has crap connection

Fuck your US friends, you just gotta deal with the lag if you wanna play with them :/
