A lot of games now are just same graphics slapped onto new titles with just a minor adjustment in the features.

I'm sure it will look a lot better on ps4/xbox (when ever the fuck they come out.) But I'm sure it's going to look the same on ps3/360 because there is only so much they can do. But from what I seen on ps4 they can do so much more.

Well I'm sure it's the same as a ps3 or xbox you can only do so much with what you got. Stuff is going to only look so good until they find ways to make it better or make better GFX cards and shit like that. I'm sure at some point GFX will get so good it will look like your driving a real car or killing real people.

I'm more talking about gameplay and art direction than graphics, but cards these days are plenty capable at handling much better graphics than Frostbite 2.0. The only thing restricting graphics are developers intent on creating a game for consoles which refuse to use high end hardware despite manufacturing costs being only a fraction higher than what they're currently using.

It wouldn't be a problem usually, but the art direction is exactly the same. Makes it looks like the exact same game.

Well as of right now we don't know what the game will look like wasn't like it was gameplay or anything. I'm sure they just put that together to get people talking about it. I'm sure it will look better or they might turn out to be like COD witch I hope not. But games now of days just want money. I missed when they had good story and gameplay like all the blood omen, Legacy of Kain, and soul reaver. They all had the best story I have ever seen in a game and all the games were like a part of that story. Game play was really good GFX were good (at the time). Wish games would go back to that and not worry about money so damn much.

I wish we just went back to the days of expansion packs and not DLC's. Actually getting extra story, extra playable characters/factions, extra multiplayer content, extra features. Shit like The Frozen Throne and Generals: Zero Hour was awesome. Shit like CoD: Elite and to a lesser extent BF3: Premium is not.

Get out of mainstream titles like CoD, Battlefield, Madden, and whatever the fuck is a yearly rehash. I've done that for the most part, and I'm having a much better time. The best experiences I've had this video game generation were the ones that were the freshest and most interesting concepts.

List of examples:
-Fallout 3/New Vegas
-Red Dead Redemption
-Arkham series
-Deus Ex/Dishonored
-Mass Effect 2

yeah COD elite is dumb wow a new gun and two maps. But BF3 Premium I would buy and I did. It's not really that bad when BF3 comes out with a dlc it's like a hole new game. They come out with more guns maps cars and other shit. So it always feels like a new game.

I love Red Dead Redemption only rock star sand box game I played to the end. Hated the ending tho and how they made the son sound.

I agree, i hope they do change it.. instead of using the same damn loading screen and wallpaper as they did in Bf3,, the guy walking and with crazy effects around them.. it was cool at first.. but if they use the same damn one just changed the guy, that just means they are lazy..
