OS Dev is not easy. I made a basic CLI OS, and a lot of work went into it. I stopped the project a month ago though due to it being a lot of work.

I think many people now days uses online resources or 'local' for that matter.

Why re-make something that's already made? When we can use that instead of wasting our time?

Because making a new one means making it like we want it, why not with special benefits that the already-made ones don't have.
