Steam servers down (Possible DDoS?)

Well steam servers a down, cant play any game, so Im bored as SHIT. I reckon their being DDoS'd, their site is going up and down, etc, what do you think? Apparently this has been happening for the past half hour or so, idk, just got back from watching a movie.

steam has the most powerful servers its impossible , maybe they got hacked ?

Im thinking EA. hahaha. Yeah, they have a lot of protection, I think a DDoS would be more likely than hacked. Although im not sure, im not experienced in either of these subjects (Very well). But I HIGHLY doubt that their website would be going up and down like that if something hadn't happened to their servers, so it doesnt matter. Steam got hacks

Yes but again, if it was, the website would be down for some time, and then up again for good. Not up and down, up and down, constantly. You can only connect to it 1/2 the time. I doubt it routine maintenance
