Crossfire Question

Whenever I try to install crossfire or run any HDD intensive program or applications my computer freezes and locks up. After I reboot my Computer has a microsoft.net framework error message. Ive tryed reinstalling Microsoft .Net Framework numerous times but that doesnt seem to help. Does anybody now a fix?
