taking it on thursday. im really nervous. any tips?

Put your foot down and say that you'll only stop if she/he passes you.

Two hands on the steering wheel,
complete stops at stop signs,
stay behind the line on a red light if you're turning right,
look behind your when switching lanes,
don't go over the speed limit and also stay near the speed limit.

Those are the major ones they check on.
