Is Battleye Enabled?

Havent played ArmA III in a while. Is Battleye enabled?

Will battleye bans carry on from arma2 when it's enabled? I have hundreds of games on my steam didn't really want to buy alpha on a new account but now I'm not sure if I'll be screwed.

no, because battle eye has no connection to steam.

I haven't seen Battleye used yet for ArmA 3, though I think they might start using it in the later stages.
