How man cows can YOUR computer run.

So... There always seems to be a thread posted about "How many cows can my computer run" at least twice a week, and there always a lot of people voicing a lot of different opinions on how many they actually can. I'm creating this thread so that we people, Who do already have cows, Can give a little information on how many cow's we run, what our computer spec's are and so forth so that other's may have a read through and get a general idea on what to expect.

Atm, My main farm computer is running only 24Gb of DDR3 RAM clocked at 1333mhz at the moment. My CPU is an i7 Over clocked to 3.20 Ghz. I run a 1v8 auto farmer most of the time, and occasionally just 8 cow's for clients. I have my 8 cows @ 2Gb's per VM and my farmer's VM is running at 4Gb's leaving 4Gb's spare for O.S running systems.

I run an 7 stable cows without lag - i7 CPU @ 3.40 GHZ and 24GB of RAM at 1600MHz. GPU is a GeForce GTX 550 Ti. Main cow has 2GB of ram, the rest have 1.5GB each.

It's shit that you can't get more man =( I still think it's your motherboard, Like something's not mating up correctly or your CPU is second rate =( Shit deal.

Yeah I reckon. I saw your PC specs and it made me wanna test how many I can get on total. Just making clones now haha, will post results later. If I can get 1v8 going I might pick up farming again.

Only problem is cows -.- dont have enough and the new CF system makes me not want to make more.

HAHA, I think it come's down to "the perfect combo" As I've said in the past I've set up a few people's computer's that are worth 2k+ and they still black screen. Like an awesome i7 CPU and 8Gb of ram and still can't run even 1 cow effectively. Every computer has a wall and I think you've hit yours. We have played and played and still haven't got past it. Wish you the best =)

Yeah true. It seems to be running fine at the moment with 9 on. BUT I haven't tried to join a room yet. CPU and ram usage are all at good levels.

Off topic. I'm considering selling my main, would you be interested?

LOL, I tried getting 14 on the other day @1.5Gb each, They where fine until I started a match, then BANG black screen on about 10 of em. Tried like 3-4 times and gave up xD you definitely need the extra when your dealing with that much load.

At the right price, Sure =) I'm looking for 8 major's I can use as cows, Although I was looking for ones with honor. I'll be happy to cut ya a deal =) Is 1**** the only decent account you have?

Yah it's my only account haha. I found a few other cows in a word document so it's all good. Got 1v8 in a room fine now. Time to get scripting again -.-
