😳 Create a hack [NoNoob :P]
Hi you who's reading this,

I've started few month ago to learn C++ , for school and also , because i love programming.

In the time that I played Warrock but I did not know C + +, I wanted to create hacks but do not have the skills, I gave up.

Now, I'd like to create, and for that, I would like someone to help me via skype. I tried by myself with a speedhack, but without success.

I'm not that kind of person that requires someone to code everything. I want to know how to do it. I want to learn.

So I was wondering if there was someone freindly enough to help me create one, and give me tips to do it on my own in the future.

Thank you in advance.
There are many tutorials you can follow in this section, i've even written some myself:

Unpacking an executable
http://www.mpgh.net/forum/262-warroc...rrock-exe.html

How to code your own nomenu base
http://www.mpgh.net/forum/262-warroc...menu-base.html

Some code snippets
http://www.mpgh.net/forum/262-warroc...-snippets.html

How to find addies
http://www.mpgh.net/forum/262-warroc...-tutorial.html

Some of them might be slightly out of date, but other then that it should cover some parts.
If you have any questions feel free to ask them
I've tryed to dump with Kernel detective before i create this thread , and i simply can't open it , it says : "Unable to install system component".

I don't know if dumping with the task manager does the same thing.

Also, around the april 7 , i've tryed to make a hack wtih addies that ive found on MPGH.

I did something like this :

Code:
#include "main.h"

#define ADR_PLAYERPOINTER 0xA5348C
#define ADR_SERVERPOINTER 0xA5341C
#define ADR_SPEED 0x1010C
// a sample exported function
void source_codes()
{
 *(float*)(ADR_PLAYERPOINTER+ADR_SPEED)  = 500;
}

void Module_Thread()
{
 for(;;)
 {
   source_codes();
 }
 Sleep(200);
}

extern "C" DLL_EXPORT BOOL APIENTRY DllMain(HINSTANCE hinstDLL, DWORD fdwReason, LPVOID lpvReserved)
{
    switch (fdwReason)
    {
        case DLL_PROCESS_ATTACH:
            CreateThread(0,0,(LPTHREAD_START_ROUTINE)Module_Thread,0,0,0);
            break;

        case DLL_PROCESS_DETACH:
            // detach from process
            break;

        case DLL_THREAD_ATTACH:
            // attach to thread
            break;

        case DLL_THREAD_DETACH:
            // detach from thread
            break;
    }
    return TRUE; // succesful
}
Is it good ? I know that the adress are outdated but is the code right ?

I marked the code that is not needed red.

also this needs to be changed because you need to check if your ingame.
void source_codes()
{
DWORD Player = *(DWORD*)(ADR_PLAYERPOINTER);
if(Player != NULL)

{
*(float*)(Player+ADR_SPEED) = 500;
}
}

Kernel
Your probably using a 64 bit system, with those operating systems you need a diffrent method.

Yea, I've added these line just after made my reply , with updated addys , but it still does'nt work. Like i don't see my character in game , i can't move or anything. :S

And for Kernel , i'll try to make a Virtual Machine to dump warrock. ^^

Normally with windows xp you should be able to load Kernel detective, or you could use chimprec (for executables only)
google is the beast.....
You don't say !?

I've tryed many trick that are supposed to fix it , but nothing works.
I can load Kernel detective. I Can't lauch warrock. Cannot launch child process (error 14001)
Oh thanks , it works perfectly.

Now i'll try to find some addys with the tutorial that are in this section and if i have any problem , i'll reply here.

Thanks.

EDIT: Finaly, warrock won't launch on VM because Hackshield detect that its a simulated environment. :S
