Wondering whether I might get banned for having cheat engine opened.

you can use cheat Engine on zombie and sp but using CE on mp may get you a ban

yes .... its protected but u need to find the codes again and again because if u use the same code's on the updated version u may get a ban 
Yeah, I got a ban using CE, used the same adresse on the new DLC map today and got a instant ban, had the accout for over 6 months, now its all gone...
