[Idea] Premium Client
Hi!
I came up with an idea for an easier way to allow non-premiums to play Minecraft,
1) Create a website so people can 'donate' a Minecraft account to a database, or remove one.
2) Create a Minecraft launcher that connects to a webserver to retrieve a random account from the database
3) Enjoy premium Minecraft, hassle free.
In depth,
The website will be a basic design, bootstrap.
There will be one main page, this will be like a product landing page, with some info, pictures and a download link.
There will also be links to add/remove accounts to the database, when the add/remove link is clicked they will be prompted to login to Minecraft using the info of the account they want to add/remove the system will then authenticate this info with Minecraft/database and add/Remove it.
The client is a simple launcher, it will send a request to the website and get back a random account login, as soon as it gets it, it will preform a minecraft login request and launch minecraft with the session. If the launcher fails to login It will replay to the website that It failed and receive a new one, once an account has failed 5 times it will be removed from the database.
I can create this project, I will have the client downloaded from free file hosting and the website from a free webhost, I'll back up the database in case of account suspensions, But only if people think it's a good idea, and are willing to support it by spreading the word and donating accounts.
The aims of this client are not illegal, I intend for the owners of legit minecraft accounts to donate their use to us, THIS IS WHY THERE IS AN ACCOUNT REMOVAL FEATURE.
Let me know what you think, Ben...
I guess it's not a bad idea.
Thanks for the link, It's similar in the free premium accounts, if that's what the 20+ accounts means... But I assure you, this idea is different and if that has been discontinued, I can fill the void it may have left?
I really didn't like Mine Cafe, it was good for some people but for me personally i didn't like it.
Pretty good idea, and Mine Cafe was okay, I guess.
